A Webinar is a seminar that can be watched live on the Internet. It can also be watched later on as a recording.

To join a webinar you usually have to sign in via a special web page and then you can watch as the presenter runs through a presentation or a demonstration. Interactive webinars also let you ask the presenter questions as the webinar proceeds.

Webinars can be very effective training and marketing tools because they engage the sales prospect much more than a normal sales page does.
